Karate International Martial Arts Licence The
JKI Is the UK association we
affiliate to with regards to our martial Arts
licences Why
do we need a licence? This
serves several purposes Þ It
gives us Insurance cover from the English karate governing body Þ It
also acts as our official grading record Þ It
identifies our Shotokan karate styles Who
has a licence? After
a four week trail period it is compulsory to apply for a JKI License. Without
this you will not be allowed to train! All Students must have a up to date
License. How
do I apply for the License? Once
you have completed your BVSK membership form & with the payment, return
to Sensei Who will apply on your behalf. How
long does it last? A
valid licence with a Karate England slip last for twelve month & are renewed on
the 31st March Your
License book is yours for life & must be looked after as your grading & identity
record. It
is important to sign your license & add a photo of yourself along with your
dojo & sensei signature. How much does it cost ? £20.00 per Annum
